 Recently I have really become aware of what a cool thing prayer is. To think that God is always there and willing to listen is such an amazing thought. He actually CARES about all our problems and wants us to come to Him with anything and everything. Lately I have been doing a lot of talking with God, a lot of praying. He is always so quick to answer and I feel so much better after I have poured my heart out to Him. Just the thought that the King of the Universe actually cares about me and my little desires and problems is so unbelievable. I think a lot of people only pray when they are having a really hard time or desperately need something. It's too cool a thing just to do it every once and a while. Sometimes you don't always get the answers you want, but knowing that He is listening and is doing what is best for you is the key. I love my chats with my Father.

Mom...

Terrain...

We started celebrating my Mom's birthday a little early on Thursday by driving up to Pennsylvania to Terrain. We both had really wanted to go there after hearing nothing but great things from some of our favorite bloggers! I thought the place was just dreamy! Filled with beautiful little things and the cutest cafe  to eat at, I loved it all! It struck me as the perfect location for a lovely wedding. Everyone should go there are least once! (Just bring lots of money with you!)

Musical Therapy...

 Ever since I was diagnosed with depression I have been going to therapy. While that has helped me a lot, one thing that is a constant help is music. Usually I become obsessed with one artist or band for a long time because their music is what helps me pull through. Lately, that artist has been Jason Mraz. He is such a positive person even when he is talking about sad or depressing times. He always seems to look on the bright side of things and makes me want to appreciate life more and more. I am literally in love with his new album; I can't get enough of it. It's perfect for Summer and will brighten any day. My favorite song on it for the moment would have to be "93 Million Miles." I just think it is incredible how music can help us all through the rough times in our lives. Oh my, this album is just so good!
