What Was Left Over...

While in Georgetown on Thursday I got the chance to see some of the beautiful decorations left over from Christmas. It was sad to see the discarded Christmas trees left on the side of the road and to see people beginning to take down their lights; however, there were still a number of houses that still had decorations up. As it is, Georgetown is a gorgeous place and I would would kill to live in one of those charming, HUGE old houses, but the Christmas decorations that we saw were outstanding. I only snapped a couple of pics but trust me, everything was beautiful. If you ever have a chance to come to D.C. during the holiday season you must at least drive by.

A Day At The Zoo With Cupcakes...

Sarah, Megan, Haylee, and I went to the DC zoo today! I haven't been there since I was really little but we had such a fun time. I was bummed that we went after all of the lights were taken down but getting to watch the pandas eat popsicles was pretty cool too! After we had walked around and seen everything we grabbed a bite to eat in Georgetown and then stopped by Georgetown cupcakes for some treats to take home. I am super excited to try my pumpkin spice cupcake!

Spontaneous...

While Sarah and I were lounging in her pool on Tuesday we both decided that we wanted to go somewhere. We started throwing out ideas, some realistic some not, and decided to be spontaneous and go to D.C. for dinner and desert. Sarah's sister Erin joined us and we went to Ted's Bulletin for dinner and Georgetown Cupcakes for desert. Dinner was really good but I must say that the cupcakes were to die for! I got red velvet, double chocolate, coconut, and white chocolate raspberry! (They weren't all for me.) Totally delicious! Definitely going back :)
