Snowfall Part 1....

We have been blessed with a few days of snow this week. We didn't get anything major, but still, it was white and beautiful! I've always loved going out and taking pictures of the snow and this time wasn't any different. I love how perfect it all looks after it has just fallen and before anyone has touched or walked on it. I'm only sharing a few photos today because with finals and everything I just haven't had time to edit them all. I plan on posting a part 2 to this on Monday because, honestly, I can't get enough of photos like these. I have been going crazy over the gorgeous snow pictures that some of my favorite bloggers have been posting <3 .="" nbsp="" p="">

Snowy Branches...

I woke up again this morning to see a dusting of snow outside. Most of it has melted now, but it was still so beautiful. I love bare branches covered in snow. I wish they could stay looking like that forever.

Last night we had a little bit of a snowfall and when I woke up this morning the ground was covered in a beautiful blanket of white. It's been so nice to look out the window throughout the day and see the snow-covered ground. I have spent most of my day working on articles, cleaning & organizing and listening to the Twilight soundtracks. Say what you will about those movies but the music is GOOD. First Snow This Winter...

Sorry I have been MIA lately, you know how it is with the holidays. I have been enjoying time with my family and am trying to take in the Christmas season. On Wednesday we got a magical surprise of snow. It was fun to wake up the day after Christmas and find the world dusted in a layer of white. We also had some snow here yesterday. The flakes were SO big and beautiful. I hope this isn't the last of our snow for this season. I'm still praying for a big downfall.

A Little Snowfall...

 Yesterday we had a beautiful little snowfall here in Maryland. It was great to just sit on the couch with a good book and the dog and watch the pretty flakes fall. It was kind of the perfect situation.

Someone Like You and Snow...

I think this music video is so beautiful. It's all black and white and vintage looking and just so gorgeous. I especially adore her hair! It's the perfect music video for a rainy grey day like today.

Also, we had our first snowfall today! It wasn't much but it was snow nonetheless. It made me less patient for winter than I was already!

All Is White...

Today is the perfect day to cuddle up with a big cup of cocoa and a good movie or book (I've been reading Emma all day). It's so cold outside and everything's with wet or covered in snow. We spent a while shoveling the driveway and now it's time for me to relax and enjoy the rest of my day. But I have to say it one more time...I LOVE SNOW! Peace and Love,

Snow Day...

To my suprise I woke up this morning to learn that school was cancelled. We had a lot of ice falling throughout the night and this morning so the roads were really slick and freezing rain continued throughout the day. So here are some pictures from my day. Snowfall...

It has been snowing here almost all day! I love how pretty all the trees look when the branches are covered in snow. I love sitting inside a warm house and then looking at the window at the beautiful flakes falling.
