Variety Show 2011...

This past week was filled with lots of Red Bull, backstage dance parties to "Stand By Me," tons of make up, choreography, and sweating. It was also filled with lots of love, laughter, and happiness as all of us seniors participated in our last high school production. I was overwhelmed by the amount of encouragement, joy, and hard work that every one had. We didn't start a show without everyone getting a hug and an energetic cheer of good luck. I feel like a lot of us got closer through working on the show. The make up is off, the costumes are put away, but the friendships are still there. I just wanted to thank everyone who worked so hard on this production. All the make up artists, hair dressers, and costume coordinators, and directors. It was a wonderful Broadway show. Lately...

Life has been so busy lately. This has been me the past couple weeks: dance rehearsals everyday. Our variety show is coming up next week and so everything has been kicked into high gear. I am no professional dancer and there is a lot of choreography. Learning all of this in addition to regular school work and work is a lot. But it'll all be good. The show will be great and it will hopefully all be worth it in the end.
