What I Wore...

On Thanksgiving my family and I spent the day at my uncle's house with my dad's side of the family. There were about 24 of us total so we had quite a big Thanksgiving! I knew that I wanted to be comfortable but I still wanted to dress up a little for the holiday. I ended up wearing one of my favorite sweaters that I bought this year from Threadsence. I love this sweater so much. It is hi-low style and has silver metallic thread woven throughout so it has a little shimmer to it. To dress it up a little I added a statement necklace that my mom had gotten me from Anthropologie for Christmas last year. I paired it with some black leggings and   brown suede boots from Madewell. 

I hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Now we can go into full Christmas mode!

What I Wore...

Floral Chiffon Shirt with Flared Sleeves- Threadsence, Round Sunglasses- Nordstrom, Southwestern Bracelets- Forever 21. 

I am taking full advantage of these last days of summer weather and wearing some of my favorite summer pieces while I can. I paired this top with some simple black leggings and flip-flops. It is one of my favorite tops that I own and I don't wear it often enough so I'm glad that I could make use of it before it gets cold again. But believe me, I am so ready for Fall layers and sweaters and scarves :)

What I Wore...

Aviators- Old Navy, Tank- Madewell, Wide-leg Floral Pants- Threadsence. 

I think it needs to be made known how much I LOVE wide-leg pants! Seriously, I am addicted. They are so comfortable and yet, incredibly stylish. I bought this pair a while back and just hadn't really worn them much until now. It's the absolute perfect weather for them! I paired those with a loose tank and some aviators for a nice and comfortable end-of-summer outfit.

The whole idea of dressing up for college went out the window during my very first semester. It just seemed impossible to look "cute" everyday and frankly, I just wasn't motivated to put in that much effort all the time. However, I still think that you can put together cute and comfortable outfits that aren't a hassle. For my very first day of school I wore my favorite sandals and leggings and paired them with a comfortable tee and some sunglasses. I finished it off with one of my favorite necklaces just to dress it up a little. I plan on putting together more outfits like this during the school year and sharing them on the blog.
