Fridays Are My Favorite...

Fridays are currently my favorite day of the week. Friday is the day that I get to hang out with my mom, just the two of us. We started off the morning with coffee and breakfast sandwiches, which were delicious by the way, and then followed that up by watching Skyfall. We also spent some time doing some online shopping and snuggling with the puppy. I was also able to finish a book today and I am halfway through another one. I'd say it was a pretty great Friday!

Around...

The two best things about today were that I woke up and did two sets of yoga which stretched and strengthened my body for the rest of the day. Second, mom made my new favorite meal: cooked asparagus, prosciutto, and eggs sunny-side up.

The Lumineers...

 

It has been such a long time since I bought some new vinyl. I guess it's because I really have to love the whole album if I'm gonna buy it. I've always liked The Lumineers but it wasn't until I saw them perform on Saturday Night Live that I started listening to their album and fell in love with it. I think the songs are just so romantic and the lyrics are absolutely beautiful. I do have to say that my favorite songs are "Dead Sea" and "Flowers in Your Hair."

4. Mindy Kaling is a goddess. The Mindy Project has to be one of my favorite shows on TV right now.  

5. A gorgeous Scottish wedding. Love the ivy covered castle.  

6. Can't get over Meg's new piece for holding all her craft goodies.  

7. Heart tattoo tights.  

8. Sara put up a great Valentine's gift guide on her blog.  

9. I want this heart waffle-maker. It's in my cart on Amazon, I just have to give in and buy it.   

10. And of course I'm cheering on my Ravens today!!

Snowy Branches...

I woke up again this morning to see a dusting of snow outside. Most of it has melted now, but it was still so beautiful. I love bare branches covered in snow. I wish they could stay looking like that forever.
