A Little Gift Exchange...

Last night I got to see Sarah for the first time in almost 3 weeks. I can't believe that it had been that long! We drove over the Bay Bridge and went to the outlets and had dinner at Cracker Barrel. We also had a little gift exchange! I love what Sarah got me; it's a box of things that I love!! We had such a fun time and picked up some holiday supplies at the Cracker Barrel store; I'm a sucker for old fashion peppermint sticks!

Couple Little Things...

First, I love Dwayne Gretzky's cover of this song! I've been listening to it all day. Plus, they all look so cute when they get cleaned up!

Second, I have got to go to Cracker Barrel soon. Sarah just sent me this picture of their new Pumpkin Custard and Gingersnaps. It looks so divine!

The Barrel...

Saturday some friends and I went over to the eastern shore to do some shopping and have some good southern cooking at Cracker Barrel. With the help of my friends, especially Sarah, I was able to find a beautiful purple dress from J. Crew for graduation! I love it so much! After a couple hours of serious shopping we headed to the Barrel. I got my favorite Blackberry pancakes! So Good! And of course we all had a serving of biscuits with apple butter, a must when you are eating at the Barrel. It was such a fun night. This little trip was just what a girl needed. Peace and Love,

A Trip Over the Bridge...

Friday night Sarah and I did one of our favorite things! We made the trip over the Bay Bridge to dine at Cracker Barrel and shop at the outlets. All day at school we were so excited and couldn't wait for dinner! Cracker Barrel is perfect for the Southern girl in me and the food is great! On the drive over we had one of our theraputic talks where we just let everything out. I love talking to Sarah because she is one of those people who really tells me what she thinks and I can be frank with her.

Once we got to the Barrel and were seated we ordered right away. I got the most delicious buttermilk pancakes with blackberry topping! And of course we ordered a round of biscuits with apple butter. Oh, and I can't forget our matching sweet teas!

After dinner we headed to the outlets. Hit up J. Crew first which was a big mistake. I fell in love with almost everything in the store. And they had plenty of sales going on but of course everything was still overpriced. I did the right thing and talked myself out of some very expenisve buys and we headed over to Old Navy. Jackpot! I got two skirts and a shirt for under $50.

On the way home we jammed to Sugarland and Bon Jovi!! It was a great night! I had so much fun with my Psych buddy!!

That Day In St. Michaels...

Remember that day when Sarah and I went to Cracker Barrel and St. Michaels.

I liked that day.

I liked our mini road trip that lasted about an hour.

I miss the apple butter and the shopping.

I can't wait for another day like that to come along.
