All You Need..

Yesterday I received a gift from my friend Ruth over at Isn't that Sew. Inside was this BEAUTIFUL necklace! Can you believe that she made that?! I love and adore it so much! Ruth took a phrase that has been so prominent in my life and made it into something that I can wear all the time. I don't think that I will ever take this off! I am so thankful and honored that Ruth took that time to make this for me and am so thankful for her friendship. Check out her blog! She is a very talented lady.

A Little Gift Exchange...

Last night I got to see Sarah for the first time in almost 3 weeks. I can't believe that it had been that long! We drove over the Bay Bridge and went to the outlets and had dinner at Cracker Barrel. We also had a little gift exchange! I love what Sarah got me; it's a box of things that I love!! We had such a fun time and picked up some holiday supplies at the Cracker Barrel store; I'm a sucker for old fashion peppermint sticks!

Graduation Gifts...

Mom and Dad decided to get me a few little goodies for graduation. The first you might recognize as the initial necklace from one of my "10 Things I Love" posts. Mom knew how much I liked it and got me one with my name on it. It's so adorable and delicate; I wear it all the time! They also got me a really rad pair of earrings and a devotional for high school graduates. I love all my little things! They helped make the day special!

A Bag Full Of Happiness...

Kristen sure knows how to put together a gift bag! She and Bryce came over before graduation on Friday and she brought along with her a little bag of things that make me happy: my favorite latte bowls from from Anthropologie, an "E" mug, and a sugar free Red Bull. And Sarah and Suzanne are treating me to a shopping spree which I cannot wait for!

What We Did On Christmas Eve...

This Christmas Eve we traveled to my grandparents house in Virginia. Christmas tunes blasting on the radio all the way there, a stop at our favorite country pie store, and gazing out the windows at all the farmhouses decorated for Christmas made for a lovely drive there.

We spent the day talking, eating, opening gifts, eating, playing games, oh and eating. It was a fun time. I was lucky enough to score a gps and some super cute plum gloves. It was good to spend time and talk with my grandparents. I adore their vintage Christmas tree!

All Apologies...

I have been a bad blogger the past couple of days. Believe me, I know. Our Internet hasn't been working and it wasn't until today that we figured out how I could connect. My connection to the web dangles on a string but I would rather it be dangling than nothing at all. Needless to say I am sorry. I hated the fact that I couldn't post what I had been doing the past couple of days. So tonight I am going to make up for it. You are not getting one, not two, but THREE blog posts in one night.
