Catch Up...

  

Hello all! I hope everyone has had a great Monday so far! It has been so hot here lately! Last week there were a couple of days where it was around 106 degrees- not my favorite! I've been trying to stay cool by wearing sundresses and drinking lots of Fiji water but sometimes the heat just gets to you. It's days like these that I wish I had a pool.  

In other news, my dad, sister, and I took a trip to Ikea yesterday. I ended up buying a unit to store my vinyl and use for my record player. I hadn't planned on spending any money but it's something that I needed and I fell in love with what I got when I saw it. I'm hoping to post pictures of it soon! 

Finally, I love the picture of the flower above. The they are from my grandmother's garden. We went out to visit my grandparents last weekend and my grandmother took me on a long walk around her garden. Her flowers are gorgeous and I think it's so cute that she loves to spend so much time gardening. I have decided that if I ever get married one day my grandmother with be in charge of the bouquets.

Flowers In Bloom...

 I love this time of year, minus all the rain. Flowers are blooming, the grass is green, birds are chirping. I love how God provides us with beautiful flowers as little pops of color in our world. I don't know how somebody can look out their window and see this and deny that God exists.

Lilacs...

Today was the first day of the week without rain. It was so bright and sunny. It actually felt like spring! I came home smelled the lilac bush which has started to bloom. What a gorgeous day! I can't wait for more flowers to blossom and for there to be constant sun-dress weather. Peace and Love,

Easter Sunday...

Today was such a beautiful day. The first thing I thought about when I woke up was that today Christ arose from the grave and conquered death. It is such a wonderful feeling to wake up to.
Right when we woke up it was time for our Easter baskets.

I loved everything I got! My basket included: The Blind Side, Lucky Brand earrings, a purple flower sweater with diamond buttons, some underwear (polka dotted of course), a candle votive, and some really cute hair pins! Oh, and their was a lot of chocolate of course!!!Then it was time to dye eggs!!

And then it was time to eat the delicious meal that my mom made for us!! The table was set so pretty!
Following our amazing dinner I did one of my favorite things...made cupcakes!
I took a lot of pictures of them but hey, I was pretty proud of 'em.
Bands I listened to while baking: Rilo Kiley and Sweet Thing.
