Abbey's Burger Bistro was one of the things on my summer list. I had first heard about it because of their famous "Berger" cookie milkshake. Yesterday, Sarah and I drove into Baltimore to try their burgers and shakes. It's a neat little hole in the wall joint in Federal Hill with all brick walls and it's own charm. The food was DELICIOUS! Sarah and I had "The Baltimore Burger" which is covered in crab dip and bacon. I am drooling just thinking about it.

Tonight my two most darling friends came over to hang out with sick old me. We had made plans to go out but I am still not feeling healthy and didn't want to risk it. Instead Suzanne and Sarah brought me a scrumptious blueberry milkshake from the "Metro Diner" and we stayed in and watched "The Switch" and "The Accidental Husband." It was nice being able to rest in my comfy pj's and chill with my girls. I'm off to bed and will hopefully wake up feeling much better. I have a busy weekend ahead. 
Last week Naomi over at The Rockstar Diaries posted about eating at Ted's Bulletin in D.C. With its black and white movies and homemade pop-tarts we couldn't resist. So we headed over there for an early dinner. 
The food was delicious! I loved my peanut butter, chocolate, and banana milkshake! The atmosphere was so neat. I loved watching Mary Poppins and Fred Astaire while listening to Louis Armstrong in the background. I will definitely be going back to Ted's. It was so yummy!!
