First Day...

Yesterday marked the beginning of another year of college for me. I am on a new campus, experiencing new things, and I get to share some of it with my sister! And even though school isn't my favorite thing, I do love pretty school supplies! This year I got all of my gear at Target and found some really cute things. I especially love my floral portfolio and my colorful notebooks. Here's to another successful semester!

The First Day Back...

Going back to school is always hard to do after a month off for Winter break. Luckily, my classes this semester aren't until the afternoon so I don't have to worry about getting up super early. Today the weather was just beautiful and I could go with just a sweater and not have to worry about a heavy jacket. I wore my favorite new Steve Madden boots that I got for Christmas along with some of my favorite rings and bracelets. That's one of the good things about going back to school- putting together new outfits :)

Back To The Daily Grind...

Tomorrow I officially go back to school. I am not looking forward to it one bit. First of all, my classes start earlier this semester which means no sleeping in for this one. Second, it means less free time for me and more time spent on assignments. I am taking one online class this semester which I started today and I am already letting myself become overwhelmed. I think I have just gotten so used to all the time off that actually having stuff due and deadlines stresses me out. I just have to remind myself to take things one day at a time and not to drowned myself in work. Making time for myself is a major priority. We only have one life to live and I am not going to spend the next 4 months only focusing on school. Boy, am I going to miss all my free time.

Peace and Love,
Em

Co Ed...

Today was my very first day of college! Yep, this girl is moving on to bigger things. I was a little nervous at first but I knew that everything would be alright in the end. I just had one class today but it was a long one. I love it though cause it's my film class and any excuse to watch a young Montgomery Clift is a good one!

College Girl...

This little lady is heading off to college tomorrow. Carrie will be attending Messiah in PA. I went over to her house yesterday to help her pack and spend some time with her before she left. We have had some really fun times together and it was so hard helping her pack up all her stuff knowing that she wasn't gonna be around all the time. It was a big reality check for me knowing that I am going to be a senior this year and I have all of these big changes hitting me. I mean I will be going to college next year. College! Carrie and I listened to Hellogoodbye and Keane while we drank coffee in her room and laughed about old times. We also continued our tradition of watching Arrested Development. I'm sad that I won't be able to hang out with Carrie whenever I want to now but I know she will have an amazing time at college. I love that girl :)

Catch Up...

I know I have been bad about blogging but I have been so busy. Between work, trips over the bridge to Cracker Barrel and the J. Crew Factory store, cleaning and painting my room, seeing my friends star in A Midsummer Nights Dream, late night visits to Safeway, and spontaneous naps I have had no time. So sorry Kristen for taking so long to post this but here it is.
Thursday after work Kristen took me to AACC to show me around the campus. It is so weird to think that I will be going to college next year. I really can't wrap my head around the idea. So after Kristen gave me great tour of the place we headed to lunch.
We went to the B.B. Bistro in Annapolis. I had never been there before and it was so cute! The place was so bright and fun with vintage tables and chairs.
I had a tuna salad sandwich that was really good with a berry tea. Oh and the cole slaw was so good! It had green apples in it!

After lunch we went inside this cute little store that sold home decor and was so chic! I could have bought everything in it! Then we crossed the street and went to The Bead Bungalow to make some jewelry.

Kristen made these great earrings and a bracelet with her and her husband's initials.
And after taking forever to decide I made these earrings.
Hopefully now I will get back into the routine of blogging everyday.

I had so much fun this day! Thanks for taking me around Kristen!

Peace and Love,

Em
