Beach Daze (A Playlist)...

August is flying by and as Summer is coming to an end I am squeezing in a few last day trips to the beach. To me, there's nothing more relaxing than laying in the sand while the sun beats down on you and the salt water swarms around you with the breeze. I always love making playlists for days spent at the beach! Give me a good book and some great music to listen to and I could lay out for hours. I hope that the rest of you are making the most of your summer and getting in plenty of beach time! Enjoy.

As promised I am sharing another playlist with you all today. I loved getting all of your music recommendations last month and I can't wait to hear what you guys have on rotation right now! I always love hearing what other people are listening to. I especially love playlists. In my eyes, there is nothing greater than a mixed tape and I guess playlists are as close as we are going to get in this day and age. I've put together a small play list of some of my favorite songs for this time of year. Some of them are new loves and others are old favorites. I hope that you like what you hear and that it reminds you of fresh flowers and warm days spent frolicking outdoors.

Dreamy...

One of my favorite things about Spring/Summer is the music that comes along with it. I love lounging around the house with the windows open or hanging outside and listening to some dream pop. I definitely have records that I only listen to in the Summer and it just makes them that much sweeter. Today it's dark and rainy. We keep getting these hints of Summer but they fade away as quickly as they came. Today I made a playlist of a few dreamy tracks that are getting me in the mood for Summer. Listening to these songs instantly makes me think of the beach or road-tripping with friends. Take a listen and I hope that you enjoy!

Hello April...

The warm weather has finally has finally made its way to us and I am so excited! I really just love the sunshine and I have been wanting to spend a lot of time outside lately. It is also no secret that I think the 60s and 70s were the best years for music. Due Date Playlist...

A week ago I watched "Due Date." Such a funny movie! Not to mention the fact that Robert Downey is in it which just makes it that much better. I fell in love with the music in this movie. It features some of my favorites songs by fleet foxes, band of horses, and Neil Young!! I put together a little playlist of the best songs in the movie. Perfect for a long Summer drive!

A Little Preview...
