Songs for Spring...

I always love hearing what other people are listening to. I especially love playlists. In my eyes, there is nothing greater than a mixed tape and I guess playlists are as close as we are going to get in this day and age. I've put together a small play list of some of my favorite songs for this time of year. Some of them are new loves and others are old favorites. I hope that you like what you hear and that it reminds you of fresh flowers and warm days spent frolicking outdoors.

Spring Fever...

With Spring break coming right around the corner I am definitely craving some warmer weather. We had another blast of snow this past weekend that left of us with two snow days this week. Don't get me wrong, you know I love me some snow, but I have just about had it with these frigid temperatures. I am tired of being bundled up in layers and honestly this weather is making me lazy. But enough of my complaining. Instead will dream of sunny Spring days & reading outside all while wearing my favorite Gerber Daisy perfume.

Over the Weekend...

On Saturday my day and I went down to our local festival on the green. It was the perfect day for it- the sun was out and there was a nice breeze. It was fun to walk around and look at all of the vendor's booths and all the local art. There was music and dancing and the smell of fried food in the air! My favorite part would have to be the snow cones. Those were a nice little treat :)

Hello April...

The warm weather has finally has finally made its way to us and I am so excited! I really just love the sunshine and I have been wanting to spend a lot of time outside lately. It is also no secret that I think the 60s and 70s were the best years for music. So I've put together a little playlist that I have been listening to while I spend time outside or when I'm chilling with the windows open.

Oh, Spring...

Spring showed up for a few days but now she has disappeared. There were a couple of days where it was warm and sunny and I actually couldn't wait for Summer. Now it's freezing and super windy and on Monday we had a blast of snow! I hope Spring comes back soon. Maybe this song will coax her into showing herself.

Flowers In Bloom...

 I love this time of year, minus all the rain. Flowers are blooming, the grass is green, birds are chirping. I love how God provides us with beautiful flowers as little pops of color in our world. I don't know how somebody can look out their window and see this and deny that God exists.

The Sun Is Shining...

Today has been absolutely gorgeous out!! I even took the time after work to go outside and get a couple of pictures by our neighbor's beautiful pink blossom tree. I am just a bit in love with it. Our trees only have white blossoms.

Today was also a great day for mail!!!!

Frist, my polka dot and chevron tape from Etsy arrived! Doesn't it just make you happy?!!

Then my birthday card came from Anthropologie. This is one of the best things that I get in the mail each year. Their cards are always so cute and inventive. And this year in addition to my birthday discount I also got a little bracelet that says "It's Me Time!" How adorable is that?

Finally, you all need to listen to "Can't Go Back" by Rosi Golan. I heard it last night on "The Vampire Diaries" and downloaded it right away. Even as I am typing this I have it on repeat.

First Day Of Spring 2012...

How was your first day of Spring? Mine started out with some rain but eventually the sun came out and everything was beautiful. I tasted my first Raspberries of the year (which were divine) and I also spent the majority of the day with my nose in a book. Spring brings so much fun with it and I can't wait to dive in!

No School...

Yay! We're on Easter break!

I love this time of year. The colors of the flowers. The light breezes. The way the air smells. And now I can start wearing all my favorite dresses.

Lilacs...

Today was the first day of the week without rain. It was so bright and sunny. It actually felt like spring! I came home smelled the lilac bush which has started to bloom. What a gorgeous day! I can't wait for more flowers to blossom and for there to be constant sun-dress weather. Peace and Love,
