Happy Easter 2011...

I hope that everyone had a very happy Easter. I know that I did! We just had a nice day at home spending time together, watching movies, and eating way too much! As usual, my mom did an amazing job with our Easter baskets. Yes, I am 19 and I still get an Easter basket but I love that I do. It's like a little bucket of happy. I love that my mom still does all the little things even though I am still growing up. I hope that I will still be getting an Easter basket when I am 35. We watched "Easter Parade" with two of my favorites, Judy Garland and Fred Astaire, and it did not disappoint. I have been wanting to see it for a really long time but just haven't gotten to putting it into the netflix queue. It's was the most perfect little movie. I'm definitely buying it. Then we spent the rest of the day watching the baseball game and eating and cooking and then eating some more :) Peace and Love,

Just Relax...

Today I took what will be my last ever oral exam. I am so thrilled to be done with it. These past few weeks I have been letting myself get too stressed about school and other little things. What I need to remember is that I am just an extra in this movie that is life and my time here is so short. I shouldn't waste my time worrying about things that I won't remember in a few years and that aren't going to change my life in a drastic way. There are a lot of people out there suffering so much more than I am with my little test so I shouldn't let this stuff get to me. I need to live my life with a purpose and love life and I am not going to let the little bumps in the road turn me in to a nervous wreck. So I'm going to indulge in things that I love. Listening to records in my room, reading, hanging out with my friends, baking, blogging, traveling, trying new things, being with my family, going on adventures, crafting, singing, and most importantly living for God.

A Little Preview...

A Polka Dot Affair...

Just like I had the post about all things sock monkey I now have one of polka dotted goodness. I think I am going to make this a weekly thing where I take some of my favorite stuff and find as much of it as possible. So without further ado...

First up is the polka dot earrings:

Next is the dot pillow:Not exactly polka dots but it is in the dot family and I though it was pretty fun!

They have so many colors!!They are the cutest holders for the cutest treat!
Here is a polka dot camera bag that was just adorable.And when you need a snack why not put it in this?While searching for polka dotted goodies I came upon a lot of cute kids clothes which, were it possible, I would totally wear.I did stumble upon this, which I LOVE, and was so tempted to buy it.And what could be more perfect than a polka dot wedding dress? I think this was originally from J. Crew:And last, but definitely not least, who could resist this man in a polka dot tie?*Swoon*

Alice In Baltimore...

Saturday night a bunch of us went to Baltimore to see Alice in Wonderland at the IMAX theater. It was so good! Johnny Depp was terrific as always and I loved Anne Hathaway.

Our evening started with a car load of girls making their way into Baltimore.

After the movie we walked around the city for a little while :)

After a big adventure of trying to find our way to the Starbucks in Canton we ended up just going to McDonald's.

Suzannie drove me home and I just collapsed on my bedroom floor.

I fell asleep to SNL and was so comfortable on the couch that I just stayed there all night.
