Caught this little one with her tongue sticking out last night. It's one of my favorite things to find her sleeping with just a tad of her sweet pink tongue sticking out. Ahh, it's just so darn cute!

Wednesday...

Yes, I am finally back. The reason I have been MIA is that my computer cord started shooting sparks to the point that it wouldn't even charge my computer. My computer was totally dead and that's why I haven't been able to blog for a while. So today I am going to try and catch up by posting all of the blogs that were planned for this week. Here is Wednesday's:

Mel just gets naughtier and naughtier every day. We've discovered that she likes to chew on pens and the edges of my laptop. She also loves to chew on my Tom's shoes (not very happy about that.) The cutest thing is when she sleeps with her tongue sticking out of her mouth just a little. Precious :)

Hello From Mel...

I have loved being able to spend time with Mel over spring break. She is so cute and cuddly. She sleeps a lot but then she gets these little shots of energy and runs around and plays. She gallops like a little horse. Awww, I love her so. Peace and Love,

A Warm Fuzzy Feeling Inside...

I spent a lot of time today cuddling with Melody. She is so warm and fuzzy! I love how she keeps me warm in the morning while we lay on the couch together and watch QVC. Dogs are the best companions. I have been lucky to have been blessed with two of the sweetest dogs out there. Of course no dog will ever replace Meg, but Mel is a nice little addition to the family. Love your little furry friends as much as possible. That's what's going to matter to them the most while they spend their short time here with us.

Days Like Today (or Yesterday)...

Today is a day like yesterday. It's rainy and cold outside and I have so much to do but not the determination to do it. I did finish painting my room this morning so that's something. But today I really just want to sit in a chair and read all day.

Yesterday Maddie and I played with Mel. She is so cute when she plays with her toys.

Maddie got really excited because her new lunch box for school came. Excited because she got something new from PB Teen, not excited for school.

And I promised her that I would post a gross picture of me without make-up and messed up hair because she thought she didn't look good. So here it is:

Tornado Warnings and Library Books...

This is what I looked like for most of today.

After going to work this morning and having a meeting at school about my future (scary!) I dropped by the library to pick up some books that I had on hold.

I got home and crawled into bed to read. I didn't even make it to the second chapter. We had thunderstorms and tornado warnings all day to day so it was the perfect day for a little reading and a lot of sleep.

*And isn't Mel so cute with her little tongue and her eyes rolled up in her head!

Puppy Love...

Mel is still getting used to being a new member of the family. She can be really playful one minute and really lazy the next. But she is adorable! I love holding her at night while I read. Hopfully little mel will get into the swing of things soon. It's tiring trying to train a dog to go to the bathroom and come when you call her.

And yes, although she is Maddie's dog I still get plenty of lovin'.

I'm Back Baby...

Got back from Italy and Greece last night! I had so much fun but am happy to be home! I have so many pictures and so much to show you!! But in the meantime meet that latest addition to our family: Maddie's puppy Mel. She is adorable.

Happy to be home! Now I have to go sort through thousands of pictures :)
