Bike Ride...

Sorry for the lack of posts the past couple days but my internet has been on the fritz. With all my extra free time I have been able to get a lot accomplished in my room and I have done a bit of sewing. Along with all of this I have been trying to mark as many things off my summer list as possible. I know that the list will not be completed this summer but hey, it's my first one. One of the things on my list that needed to be crossed off was riding my bike. So on Sunday Maddie and I dusted off our bikes and with some new air in the tires we were on our way.

It was fun despite the pain of going off curbs and the blisters that have formed on my thumbs. I know I'm a whimp.

Days Like Today (or Yesterday)...

Today is a day like yesterday. It's rainy and cold outside and I have so much to do but not the determination to do it. I did finish painting my room this morning so that's something. But today I really just want to sit in a chair and read all day.

Yesterday Maddie and I played with Mel. She is so cute when she plays with her toys.

Maddie got really excited because her new lunch box for school came. Excited because she got something new from PB Teen, not excited for school.

And I promised her that I would post a gross picture of me without make-up and messed up hair because she thought she didn't look good. So here it is:

Wisdom Teeth...

Today Maddie gets her wisdome teeth removed. Let me just say you'll be fine little sister! There's nothing to worry about. Just think of all the movies you'll get to watch and pudding you'll get to eat during your recovery :) I'm sorry I can't be there with you but I will be thinking about you and praying for you. You've always been the brave one so I'll know that you'll be ok.

Sunday Night Music Party...

Maddie and I had a little music party in her room last night. Music is not one of the things we agree upon. Our tastes are completely different. So whenever we are in her room we have to listen to her music, unfortunately that means hip hop most of the time.

Maybe one of these days she'll learn to like classic rock....
