Days Full Of Rain...

 

Lately we have had a lot of rainy days around here. Without the sunshine it doesn't feel like Summer at all. Don't get me wrong, I like the rain every now and then, but with the forecast saying that there will be rain until Tuesday I am not all that thrilled. Eye Liner and Rain...

I am so tired of the rain here. It ruins my mood. There are such things as perfect rainy days which involve blankets, warm coffee, and stacks of good movies and books. But when there are weeks when it just rains on end it's no fun anymore. I hope the sun comes out tomorrow.

Singin' In The Rain...

Today was one of those rainy days where all you want to do is put on your warmest socks and watch black and white movies. Unfortunately for me I had classes all day. It was a longer day and definitely one that needed some motivation to get through but I am finally home. The only casualty from today is my umbrella. Tonight I am going to blow caution to the wind and forget about homework. All this girl is going to be doing is reading, watc

Caught In The Rain...

Almost right when we finished eating on Thursday, Sarah and I got caught in the middle of a huge rainstorm! The streets were flooding and we had to walk 5 blocs to our car. Needless to say we got pretty wet, but it was quite the adventure. Although, I was scared for my life for a minute or two.

Days Like Today (or Yesterday)...

Today is a day like yesterday. It's rainy and cold outside and I have so much to do but not the determination to do it. I did finish painting my room this morning so that's something. But today I really just want to sit in a chair and read all day.

Yesterday Maddie and I played with Mel. She is so cute when she plays with her toys.

Maddie got really excited because her new lunch box for school came. Excited because she got something new from PB Teen, not excited for school.

And I promised her that I would post a gross picture of me without make-up and messed up hair because she thought she didn't look good. So here it is:

Tornado Warnings and Library Books...

This is what I looked like for most of today.

After going to work this morning and having a meeting at school about my future (scary!) I dropped by the library to pick up some books that I had on hold.

I got home and crawled into bed to read. I didn't even make it to the second chapter. We had thunderstorms and tornado warnings all day to day so it was the perfect day for a little reading and a lot of sleep.

*And isn't Mel so cute with her little tongue and her eyes rolled up in her head!

Today...

I didn't like today.

It rained.
I'm grumpy.
My schoolwork is about to eat me alive.
I told myself I was gonna cut back on chocolate and I have already had 2 mini raspberry 3 Musketeers and 4 dark chocolate Dove eggs since I have been home.
My face is breaking out like crazy.
The house is freezing.
My teachers don't seem to care that all of their students are ready to jump out a window.
I desperately want to shop but I need to save my money for Grand Tour.
I haven't been able to watch an Orioles game since last Thursday.

That's pretty much it. I hope that tomorrow will be better.

Who'll Stop the Rain...

We've had a torrential downpour here since yesterday and it's supposed to last all weekend :( With all this rain, today was a perfect day to watch movies. I ran to Best Buy and picked these up:
