Here's To...

  

...the weekend!!  

I will be spending time with some of my family tomorrow and then Sunday will be spent mostly prepping for my trip.

Reunions...

Over the weekend I was able to meet up with a few girlfriends that I haven't seen in a long time. On Friday night I went out for dinner and drinks with my friend Suzanne who I haven't seen in months. It was so great to see her! We went to the Bonefish Grill and had Bang Bang Shrimp and the most delicious Hawaiian cocktails! It was so wonderful to catch up and laugh and I hope to get together again soon. Then on Saturday I went out with my friend Megan who I haven't seen since my birthday party last year. We had lunch at a local diner and caught up on everything that has been going on in each other's lives. After lunch we dropped in Anthropologie and made a few tiny purchases :) It was great to see her too and we are going to work on making plans more often. The sun was out all weekend and provided the perfect weather to cruise around and listen to JT and I'm really thankful that I was able to meet up with my old friends. I want to work hard to keep in contact with those girls. It's funny to see how much things have changed since high school but great to know that our friendships can just pick up where we left off.

Not Ready In The Least...

Ignore the tired eyes and lack of make up. I am in no mood to go back to the daily grind tomorrow. This week is gonna be so crazy. Our Variety show is this weekend and so we have rehearsals non-stop. I really cannot wait until graduation when I don't have to worry about all of this stuff. Anyway, here's a little summary of my weekend:

-Listened to Beatles records for two days straight

-Enjoyed delicious pancakes with whipped cream at Cracker Barrel

-Found a lovely J. Crew Dress for graduation, thanks to miss Sarah Conlon

-Had a great Saturday night with friends on the eastern shore

-Watch old episodes of Saturday Night Live on Netflix

-Caught up on some much needed reading

The weekends go by way too fast, it makes me sick . Hope every one has a great Monday!

Gearing Up...

Here's to a great week for everyone! I am trying to go in with a positive attitude even though I have plenty of things to stress about. But hey, it's all in the Lord's hands and I am here to enjoy life. What's the point of worrying when my time here is so short?

I am so happy it's the weekend. This week has been crazy and emotional and I am so glad that it's over. Not to mention I get Monday off! I'm excited to just get to chill and read and watch movies for three days. Still trying to decide what to do for Halloween. Thinking maybe a movie night??

Nothing Better Than Ice Cream and Sweet Thing...

I'm sorry that I was so bad about blogging this weekend but I promise that I'll be better. Friday night started off with hair cuts and ended with me falling asleep at 6:30 and sleeping for 13 hours.

Saturday started off right with a Dunkin' Doughnuts Iced coffee and a re-run of White Collar before heading off to work. In the afternoon dad and I drove to Columbia andwent to a secondhand book shop where I picked up a lovely Fitzgerald. Then after a few hours of feeling sick mom and I drove to Coldstone where I filled up on dark chocolate ice cream with sprinkles and gummie bears (my all time fav).

We listened to Sweet Thing all the way there and back.

Mel got her first sweater!

Sunday was a day to don Goodwill finds, watch football, read books, work on my quilt, and take naps.

And that ladies and gents was my weekend :)

Happy Weekend!

Last weekend my sister blew out her birthday candles and turned another year older :) We spent Saturday at my grandparents in Winchester, VA. In the historic district of downtown they have some of the cutest little buildings. So after a delicious lunch at Brewbakers (the BBQ Pork sandwich was amazing!) we walked along the mall and I took some photos.I Hope that everyone has a fun and beautiful weekend!
