Almost right when we finished eating on Thursday, Sarah and I got caught in the middle of a huge rainstorm! The streets were flooding and we had to walk 5 blocs to our car. Needless to say we got pretty wet, but it was quite the adventure. Although, I was scared for my life for a minute or two.

Abbey's Burger Bistro was one of the things on my summer list. I had first heard about it because of their famous "Berger" cookie milkshake. Yesterday, Sarah and I drove into Baltimore to try their burgers and shakes. It's a neat little hole in the wall joint in Federal Hill with all brick walls and it's own charm. The food was DELICIOUS! Sarah and I had "The Baltimore Burger" which is covered in crab dip and bacon. I am drooling just thinking about it.

On Tuesday the sister and I went to see "Midnight In Paris." Maddie and I have been dying to go to Paris for such a long time and this movie just furthered that desire. The shots of the city are to die for! Oh, and Rachel Mcadams clothes are the perfect wardrobe for Paris in the spring. I was so jealous! You must see this movie even if it is only for the location.

On Sunday we headed to Fell's Point for lunch and gelato. Ever since going to Italy last year I have been in search for some of the real stuff here. I must say that the gelato from Italian Market doesn't do it for me (but I guess a girl gets kinda spoiled when she's eating gelato in Italy for a week.) Anyway, "Pitango" has it down. I got my favorite flavor (chocolate hazelnut) and added a little bit of pistachio and it was divine! The perfect treat on a hot summer day!

The past couple of days the weather has been perfect. I love this time in the summer! It's perfect for sipping on pineapple juice or enjoying a nice smoothie which is exactly what I have been doing.
