sTori Telling...

I've been reading this book all day.

I love it when I can just spend my day in a chair with a good book.

Lady of Style: Kate Middleton...

Everyone knows that today was the big day of the Royal Wedding. I have to say that I thought Kate's dress was so dreamy and perfect for the occasion! I love how she went for a classic, yet modern, take on Grace Kelly. And her reception dress, oh my gosh! It was to die for. If I were I princess I would want to dress like Kate. Here are some of my favorite looks that we have seen from her over the years.

We Went To D.C...

On Tuesday all of us seniors went on our very last field trip together. It seems so weird to me that that was the last time that we will all go somewhere together. I mean we've gone from places like the National Cathedral to Rome together. We've also been through a lot together. Some bad, some good, but we've made it to the end.

Tuesday we went down to the Holocaust Museum. Looking at some of the things there was so hard but I think it's also something that people need to see. We can't ignore all the evil in this world and World War II is one really good example of that.

Anyway, here are some pictures from our very last field trip: the smiles, the metro rides, and all of us that make up the class of 2011.

Egg Dying With Emma And Maddie...

Late Saturday night Maddie and I dyed our Easter eggs. We followed Martha Stewart's instructions to create her pastel rainbow eggs which were so pretty! We each took turns putting in the coloring and then holding the eggs under the dye for the right amount of time. I love dying eggs! It's one of my favorite things to do for Easter. Peace and Love,

Happy Easter 2011...

I hope that everyone had a very happy Easter. I know that I did! We just had a nice day at home spending time together, watching movies, and eating way too much! As usual, my mom did an amazing job with our Easter baskets. Yes, I am 19 and I still get an Easter basket but I love that I do. It's like a little bucket of happy. I love that my mom still does all the little things even though I am still growing up. I hope that I will still be getting an Easter basket when I am 35. We watched "Easter Parade" with two of my favorites, Judy Garland and Fred Astaire, and it did not disappoint. I have been wanting to see it for a really long time but just haven't gotten to putting it into the netflix queue. It's was the most perfect little movie. I'm definitely buying it. Then we spent the rest of the day watching the baseball game and eating and cooking and then eating some more :) Peace and Love,

Em
