Home...

 

I'm home and I made it here safe and sound. I'm not gonna lie, my heart is aching for Tennessee. I would hop in the car and do the 12 hour drive down there right now if I could. Don't get me wrong, I love being home with my parents and Mel but I belong down south. Posts all about the trip will be up for the next few days so stay tuned!

A Look At Lune Vintage...

 Lune Vintage is a blog that I have looked at for some time. I love all of her pictures and her style is so bohemian. It wasn't until recently that I checked back into her shop and saw all of the vintage goodies! It is the perfect place for any little hippie to shop and I love the new layout of the store! Here are a few of my favorite pieces so far!

10 Things I LOVE: Road Trip Essentials...

1. Starbucks' Mocha Frappuccino's. The perfect fuel for the road! 2. A pair of Tom's...or two! 

3. Always bring Essie nail polishes for those little events or emergencies. 4. A sparkly backpack to tote everything around in, including my giant camera. 5. The perfect snack while driving: Fig Newtons. I am particularly fond of the triple berry flavor. 6. Maxi dresses. The ultimate style must have for traveling. I bought a tie dye one just like this for our trip! 7. My Clinique acne and face wash. Can't leave home without it. 8. A journal to jot down places, memories, and doodles. 9. My iPod touch with it's Kate Spade case. Necessary not just for music but also for tweeting and taking pictures all throughout the trip. 10. My aviator shades.

Dreamy Lookbook...

 If you haven't checked out "Bohemian Collective" I suggest that you do. The website is a compilation of all things boho. I was particularly taken with this month's lookbook. The pictures are so dreamy and rock the whole hippie theme.

A Summer Evening On The Water...

Saturday evening I drove out to Columbia to hang out with one of my dearest friends, Tara. The evening involved smoked shrimp + corn on the patio, Rachel McAdams + Channing Tatum, and my favorite part, sitting out by the quarry. It's just so beautiful out there and I love sitting on the dock with my feet hanging over the edge. The water is so calm and the view is gorgeous! The perfect place to spend a warm summer evening.
