Escaping Through Watercolors...

I am no artist, but one thing that truly relaxes me is painting. I love to pull out my watercolor sets and just sit down with some good music and sketch and paint. It gives my mind a chance to wander and I end up with something that is unique and totally mine. This week I decided to mimic a piece that I had seen in someone else's home. It was super simple (just three black triangles) but I love the way it turned out and I think it is a great addition to the wall behind my bed. I don't know what I will paint next but I do hope to do more of it this Summer!

Arrow...

Lately I have been so consumed with school that it is nice to just sit down and do a little crafting every once in a while. On Sunday I made a project which I have been wanting to do for a long time: an arrow. I wanted an arrow to hang on the wall behind my bed but really just couldn't find one so I decided to make one. I followed this tutorial but put my own spin on a few things. I really love how it turned out and it fits perfectly on the wall. I might have to make more of these :)

Blog Smitten- Whatever...

I read Whatever EVERY SINGLE day. It's one of those blogs that I can go back and look at in it's entirity for hours. Meg is a wife, mother of 5, photographer, and crafter.
