Writer's Block...

I hate that I haven't been able to blog much over the last two weeks. Things have just been super crazy since I am moving towards the end of the semester at school and I have a lot on my plate. In addition to all that I also had jury duty last week so things have been hectic to say the least. Despite all of that, I have been wanting so badly to get back to blogging. Even though it's only been a few weeks I have missed sharing little bits of my life daily on the blog. The trouble is since I am so busy with work and school at the moment I am having a hard time coming up with content to blog about. I don't want to just post things for the sake of having a post up every day. So, I guess my question is: How do come up with posts for your blog? Do you ever have times when the inspiration just isn't flowing? What do you do?

Peace and Love,
Em

  1. Oh girl - we're goin' through this together! My blog has been a bit of a wasteland recently, too. I guess I just blog when I want to, you know? Otherwise it feels forced and contrived. I keep a couple of backup posts saved in my drafts, though, just in case ;)

  2. How about your thoughts/plans for designing/decorating your 1st apartment?!!! Don't leave anything out either; have ideas for kitchen, bathroom, living room etc. Like how you would like it to look with the items that you already have plus what you would like to get to make it your own! And how you would refinish/paint or reupholster things you already have. I would LOVE to see you pull together what some call a "mood board" or what I call a design plan! I'm just getting excited just typing this... can't wait to see what you come up with either!
    Love you, Aunt D

  3. I get writers block, and I decided I wasn't going to pressure myself for filler posts, I just won't post that day and people will have to deal! (not that I have a ton of readers!) But usually I come up with random stuff when I'm not trying, so it's handy to keep a notepad to jot down the idea! Cute pic by the way!

  4. Sorry things have been so busy for you, I hope they calm down soon so you'll have plenty of time to enjoy the holidays.
Is it sick that I've always wanted to be called to jury duty?
    Cheers.
