Two of my best friends have celebrated their birthdays during the past couple weeks and I wanted to wish them both terrific and peaceful years.
Suzanne is my crazy friend! I love her for it :)
-We both have an obsession with Irish and Scottish men.
- She wants to get an Irish cross tattoo
-We have special dates on Friday nights at the Metro and Double T diners
-Our all-time favorite song is "Happiness is a warm gun" (Across the Universe version)
-She is my driver most nights
-We pass notes to each other in school that are filled with song lyrics
-One of my favorite memories is from when we were on our way downtown on a Friday night and we screamed the lyrics to "Hey, Jude" in the car
Alyssa and I have been through everything together. We have both been through difficult situations but have gotten through them together.
-Her favorite color is yellow
-Favorite movie is "Dirty Dancing"
-She is an awesome dancer
-I squeezed the life out of her hand when I went and got my cartilage pierced
-She is the only one of my girlfriends who has seen me without make up on
-We went to the outer banks the day after Christmas
-For my 17th birthday she got me a professional photo shoot
-She read me a speech for my birthday that made me cry in public (first time that has ever happened)
-We have Bible studies together at lunch
-People mix us up all the time
-We both have a thing for a song called "Lazy Eye"
I am so thankful for these girls! I have had some of the best times ever with them! I they both have fun and exciting years! Thanks for being my friends gals, you're the best!

We are still snowed in! While eneryone was out today shoveling snow (I couldn't help much because my back is killing me) I made a strawberry cake. I think it's one of my favorite flavors and I love the color of it! I basically lived off this cake when I had my wisdom teeth removed :) It was fun to do some baking (even though most of it came in a box).
It has been snowing for two days here in MD!! I love the snow! The only bad thing is that we are stuck up in the house and are starting to run out of things to do. Everything is totally buried outside. I do love looking out the window and seeing everything covered sparkling white! Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend! Stay warm! 
This was taken last week at my best friend's birthday party when I fell asleep during Dirty Dancing. I can't be blamed, it was 2:30 in the morning. Needless to say I need to catch up on some sleep. Maybe the late night Dog the Bounty Hunter Marathons and watching Netflix in my room until 1 in the morning aren't such good ideas. Whatever, I'm young and need to live while I can! lol Hope the snow day tomorrow allows me some rest!! Stay Warm! 
Last Friday night I hung out with my good friends Carrie and Caroline. We went out to Thai dinner at Lemongrass and then off to get some dessert and coffee.We came back to my place to watch some Christian Bale and found out that the telethon for Haiti was on. Well when we saw Mel Gibson and Jason Bateman sitting next to each other we had to call. After 40 minutes and around 300 calls the lines were still busy. We continued trying to call through out the night hoping that some attractive celebrity man would answer the phone but it never happened :( We ended the night watching some Christian Bale in 3:10 to Yuma. It still wasn't as great as talking to some of our favorite leading men but it did the trick. 
This week I have started the first book of our Jane Austen book club, Sense and Sensibility. There are some days that I just wish I lived inside of one of Jane Austen's novels; all the romance and elegence. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend. I am so incredibly tired.
