Oh Yeah...
This week has been SO busy. All I can say is that I can't wait for Friday to get here because it's the only day that I have off. I've been rushing around to doctor's appointments, work, school, meeting up with friends and on top of that I have homework. I'm trying not to look at things negatively though. All of this keeping busy is taking my mind off of other things which I am thankful for right now. Needless to say it was nice to go out and get some frozen yogurt tonight. And yes, it tasted just as good as it looks!

The First Day Back...
Going back to school is always hard to do after a month off for Winter break. Luckily, my classes this semester aren't until the afternoon so I don't have to worry about getting up super early. Today the weather was just beautiful and I could go with just a sweater and not have to worry about a heavy jacket. I wore my favorite new Steve Madden boots that I got for Christmas along with some of my favorite rings and bracelets. That's one of the good things about going back to school- putting together new outfits :)

52 Lists // Week 3...
I just wanted to say that this week's list was a little difficult for me to come up with. However, I think that Moorea says it perfectly:
"I absolutely believe that everyone has reasons to be proud of who they are, what they have made it through and what they have created in their lives. But many of us doubt that we even have anything to be proud of. If you are having a hard time feeling proud of anything about yourself or in your life, you can at least try to acknowledge those things which you should seek to find pride in. Pride is not a bad thing. Being pompous and show off-y isn't a good thing. But to trust in your own confidence, you must acknowledge that you have justified reasons for being content and happy with yourself and your efforts. Failures, even repeated failures, do not define you. They are at least markers that you took action and made a serious effort. And that is enough to be very proud of my friends."

At a Glance...
Yesterday I finally started taking down the little Christmas decorations I had around my room. I know- I'm late. It's just so hard for me to admit that Christmas is over. Anyway, I started to work on some much needed organization and cleaning, I brought up Christmas gifts that I hadn't taken care of yet, and listened to records throughout the afternoon. These are pictures of some of my favorite areas in my room right now. Everyone should be in love with their room; it's your sanctuary and space. I can't wait to get my room just the way I want it and so far I'm pretty happy with it :)

Last night we had a little bit of a snowfall and when I woke up this morning the ground was covered in a beautiful blanket of white. It's been so nice to look out the window throughout the day and see the snow-covered ground. I have spent most of my day working on articles, cleaning & organizing and listening to the Twilight soundtracks. Say what you will about those movies but the music is GOOD. Wishing you a lovely day.

My Artifact Uprising Instagram Book...
A while back I posted the mini instagram book from Artifact Uprising as one of the 10 things I loved. Needless to say, I instantly fell in love with these little books and loved the idea of being able to compile my favorite instagram photos into a book that would last forever. In early December I put together my first book of instagrams which I titled Vol. 1. I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out! The website is easy to use and these books are really not that expensive. I think these would be great as gifts for family and friends and I plan on making a whole lot more. I'm currently working on one that is entirely instagrams from Christmas!!

Martha Stewart Living February 2013...
My day is automatically better when a new copy of Martha Stewart Living arrives in the mail. The pictures are always colorful and fun, the recipes make me want to cook and bake more, and there are always crafts that I want to try. The February issue was no exception. This edition is filled with pink & red, hearts, and yummy treats from cover to cover. There are also some beautiful photographs of flowers featured. If you aren't a subscriber I suggest that you run to the store and pick up a copy. You won't be disappointed :)
*I also just wanted to give a little shout out to Ruth who sent a copy of Photoshop Elements. I have been meaning to buy the software forever but just never did. Thank you SO much Ruth for sending it to me! It has been such a great help and I love using it!*

Our Own Golden Globes Party...
Award shows are normally a special event in this house. You will find the women of this family gathered around the tv every year for the Golden Globes, SAGs, and Oscars. This year we decided to liven things up a bit by printing out our own ballots and making our individual predictions about who would win. Sadly, I lost but it was only by one point. The night was made even better because we order Chinese (my favorite)! It was a fun night. We enjoyed looking at the fashion, talking about who should have won, and checking out Bradley Cooper. Now we are all set for the Oscars.

Facelift...
Just wanted to give a fair warning that things might look a little crazy on the blog for the next couple of days or so. I plan on working on the layout and giving the blog a whole new look so things will be under construction. I just have to say how much this blog means to me. I never started out thinking that I would write in order to gain followers. I wanted to be able to document my life with photos and music and that is what this blog has been for me: an online journal of my everyday life. Getting to share these little details with new and old friends is just a bonus. This blog really is a top priority for me and means the world to me. Plus, I have so much fun doing it!! I really hope that this year I will be able to improve the quality of the blog and work on my writing and photography. So thanks for listening and reading. I hope that there is a lot more great stuff to come in 2013...
