Is It Fall Yet?...


Even though the stores are stocked with Halloween candy and a few pumpkins are out it really hasn't started to feel like Fall around here. For the past week we've had temperatures in the high 70s and 80s and I've been walking around in tank tops and shorts. I mean, it's October! I am ready for coats and scarves and crisp breezes. I did wander outside this weekend and saw that some of our trees were starting to change color so that is a good sign. In the meantime I am trying to squeeze in Autumnal things when I can: today I had my second Pumpkin Spice latte of the season, we've watched Sleepy Hollow, and there are little clusters of pumpkins around the house. 

Are you as desperate for Fall as I am?

    Me too, girl. Me too. The only thing that I'm nervous about? The winter that follows...yikes! Maybe fall can just last forever :)

    I'm with you! Here in Florida it's still 80 most days, but the rain has increased and the temperature is beginning to drop a bit at night. It's refreshing. I just want the humidity gone! Here's hoping :)

      We've had a lot of rain here too! I've noticed that that has made it chillier. I hope that you get some cooler weather soon!

    I think Fall has finally come to WV! There's a crispness in the late autumn air and the trees are slowly changing colors. The farmer's market is full of pumpkins & gourds of all shapes, colors and sizes, along with brightly colored mums, pansies and cabbage heads for decorating your front porch. *sigh* I love this time of year!

    I feel ya! I wish it would at least get a little cooler here in FL...but no still in the 90s where I live! :/

    It has been raining here and it finally stopped and we got sunshine! Its here and I think this winter is going to be a cold one.

    it's been really warm around here and beautiful. it feels like summer but with all the leaves changing it looks like fall!
    I love fall too but I hate that it's followed by winter!
