Trip To Tenn: Franklin...

We couldn't visit Tennessee without going to Franklin. We started the day off without much of a plan. We debated between where we would go and what we would do (a tour of country star's homes was in the works), but eventually we settled on Franklin because of, what else, the shopping! Unfortunately my Uncle had to go into work that day so we made a full girls day out of it. Because it was Memorial day a lot of the shops were closed but we did get to go inside places like Lulu's which kept us more than busy. For lunch we ate at the Franklin Mercantile Deli. We ended up waiting in line for about 20 minutes but it was worth the wait. This place was everything I picture about the South! Lots of different teas, drinks served in mason jars, flowers in little cans on every table, mixed and matched tables and chairs. Oh, and the baked potato salad was TO DIE FOR!! We ended our day in Franklin by spending hours inside an antique mall. There was just so much to look at and so many treasures to be found. I was happy to bring home a little vintage brownie camera with me. I would say that we got a little taste of everything and had the perfect Franklin experience.
